WINDOWS VISTA AERO GLASS (MVP HELP PLEASE)
There were lots of people beta testing who wanted to know the limits of MB with the above requirements that would support Aero Glass. 64 MB was the lowe end of RAM. I personally would get a 256 or 511 MB RAM video card--check ATI and Nvidia for what you can afford. There are a large range of cards that you can find

I installed Vista, and at 1st had the Aero Glass effect. The
eye candy (Aero and Aero Glass) will not appear until Beta 2. Aero Glass will likely require a high end video card for the 3d rendering. Something like a Radeon 9800 or better, but that could change so don't shop yet. It may be less, it may be more (unlikely). Vista, unlike XP, can scale itself to the level of

Bill Grant not.available@online microsoft public virtualserver You don't get full Aero Glass, but with R2 and the R2 VM Additions you get a pretty good approximation. Vista and Longhorn Server Beta 2 look pretty good to me when running like this - better than they do using Remote Desktop from XP for example.

Aero graphics card?
2) Aero glass has nothing to do with ram since it uses the GPU and the gpu memory, UNLESS the display adaptor is integrated, and this happens to be the case with I was running Ultimate on 512 during the Beta and Release Canditate stages and it works altogether fine. 2)Aero does work off the Ram so stop talking
